I’m a photographer, media producer, and the technical brain behind Light & Shadow Studios. Based in Albany, Oregon, I serve real estate agents, builders, AirBNBers, rental properties, and commercial clients throughout the Willamette Valley and beyond (from Corvallis, Salem, and Eugene to Portland, Bend, and the Oregon Coast).

Technical Craft Over Automated Shortcuts

My approach to real estate media is built on technical precision rather than quick volume. Instead of relying on automated, one-click HDR brackets that muddy true colors and distort light, I handcraft images using advanced off-camera flambient techniques.

I manually capture and blend flash and natural ambient light to preserve exact color fidelity, crisp architectural lines, and true window views. It takes more intent, but quality over raw throughput is the entire point. Every property gets a dedicated, meticulous editing process, delivered within a reliable 48-hour window so your marketing schedule stays on track.

The Real Estate Lens

Before moving behind the camera full-time, I worked as a licensed REALTOR. That background completely shapes how I approach a shoot. I don’t just see a house as a set of photos; I see it through the lens of listing strategy, spatial flow, and buyer psychology. I know what agents actually need to market a listing effectively, how to highlight key structural features, and how clean imagery builds immediate buyer trust.

Neurodivergence as a Precision Tool

I’m openly neurodivergent, diagnosed in adulthood with autism, ADHD, and OCD. In photography and digital media, that wiring is a superpower. My brain hyper-focuses on spatial geometry, pattern recognition, line alignment, and subtle nuances in lighting that are easy to miss. Straight verticals, exposure balance, and composed intentionality aren't extra steps to me: they are the baseline.

Authenticity, Family & Inclusion

I’m a parent to two incredible neurodivergent kids, Oliver and Rowan, who keep me grounded and constantly remind me of the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability. That same practical care guides how I show up on set and work with every client.

As a proud trans woman who has walked a personal path through healing, health, and sobriety, I show up to my work with complete clarity and purpose. I love building warm, genuine, and inclusive partnerships with clients from all backgrounds, especially fellow LGBTQ+ professionals, neurodivergent business owners, families, and local creators.
